Customer: EDIFITS
ICP: Marketing (insurtech / employee benefits communication)
Use case: Localization and personalization of explainer, sales, and enrollment videos
Content type: Explainer videos, personalized sales videos, benefits enrollment videos
Headline metric: 15% MoM revenue growth, $90,000 saved per video
The customer
EDIFITS produces clear, engaging video content for insurance carriers, helping employees understand complex benefits and increasing enrollment. Their core asset is the explainer video. Each one is a deliverable for a specific carrier, a specific coverage option, and increasingly a specific audience. The economics of that model lived or died on production cost and reach.
The problem
EDIFITS's videos worked. They were also expensive and only available in English. A single shoot for a new coverage option or a new client could run up to $90,000. Multilingual employee populations were left with English-only content or none at all. Insurance carriers wanted videos tailored to their terminology and audience, which meant either bespoke productions or generic, less effective fallback assets. And as in-person sales kept declining, the pressure to deliver more engaging, more personalized video at scale kept growing. Without a way to repurpose and adapt existing content, the business was capped by time, budget, and production capacity.
Why LipDub
EDIFITS evaluated several AI dubbing solutions, including avatar-driven tools and generic lip sync products. None held up. Avatars stripped out the credibility of the original performance. Generic lip sync was not flexible enough to preserve tone, pacing, or terminology in a regulated, audience-facing context. LipDub AI was the only solution that preserved the natural delivery of the speaker, kept full editorial control over wording and terminology, and fit cleanly into the existing workflow. The team could experiment and iterate without heavy onboarding or services overhead, which was the unlock for treating localization and personalization as a product line instead of a project.
The work
EDIFITS turned its existing library of English explainer videos into a reusable system. Each source video could be adapted for new languages, new carriers, and new coverage options without commissioning a new shoot. Custom terminology updates landed without re-recording. Carrier-specific personalizations shipped on demand. The workflow shifted from one-off video production to operating a scalable platform for personalized benefits communication, with LipDub handling the translation and lip sync layer that made the reuse possible.
